Please join us in our “Hearts for Huntington’s" Campaign.

HDSA has made paper hearts available for purchase at point-of-sale locations. The Hearts are to be sold for $1 each or a general donation. The person who purchased the Heart can write their name or the name of a loved one on the Heart. Then the Heart is to be displayed in a public location that is easily viewed.

Suggested places to sell:

  • Local Markets
  • Hair Salons
  • Local food locations (Diners, Pizza Places, Restaurants, etc.)
  • Pharmacies
  • Schools
  • Work Place Hearts are also available with a barcode on the back if you would like to sell them at a bigger chain store that requires a barcode.

All proceeds go to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA), Wisconsin Chapter, for research and family care and education.

Amaryllis Bulb Sale
Wisconsin will conduct its annual amaryllis bulb sale during October, November and December. From the $10 sale price, the chapter receives $5. Proceeds are used for care of HD patients and families, and for research for the cure.

You can take orders and have them delivered, or buy them by the box and sell them.

Grocery Charity of Choice
You can have proceeds from your weekly grocery shopping donated to HDSA WI. Pick-n-Save is one example of a grocery store chain that has a donation program in place. If you select HDSA (charity #339600) a percentage of your purchases will help support HD research and families. Check to see if your grocery store has a similar program.

1800flowers.com and FTD.com will donate a percentage of each order to HDSA. Just mention HDSA when ordering.

In Honor of / In Memory of a Loved One
Donations can be made in honor or memory of a loved one. HDSA-WI has preprinted envelopes that we can provide for funeral services available. If you would like to set up a memorial fund or make a donation in someone’s honor, please call Jean Morack at 877.330.2699.
