Fore a Cure Golf Outing – May 18th 2009
HDSA's annual "Fore a Cure" golf outing will be held on Monday, May 18th, 2009, at the beautiful Mequon Country Club in Mequon, Wis. Registration and a box lunch will begin at 11:00 am, the shot-gun start will begin at 1:00 pm, dinner and drinks will follow. Please check back for information on registration.

Wisconsin HDSA Picnic
– May 30th 2009
The Wisconsin Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America is holding its 6th Annual Family Picnic this year at beautiful Wil-o-Way Park, adjacent to Hansen Golf Course in Wauwatosa on Saturday, May 30th, 2009. The Picnic will have free grilled brats, hot dogs & burgers, great potluck dishes, coffee and soft drinks. Bring the whole family—playground equipment is available as well as horseshoes, ladder golf and other games. The picnic will begin at 11 am, food will be served at noon. Logrolling Tournament – June 13th 2009
Spend a sunny afternoon at Lake Wingra in Madison, Wis. for the Midwest Log Rolling Championship's "Rollin' for a Cure." This free and open-to-the-public event gives spectators the chance to watch amateur and professional lumberjacks and jills participate in logrolling and boom-running. HDSA has teamed up with the Alzheimer's Association to sponsor a day-long
conference designed to help alleviate some of the daily stressors caregivers
face. Joint workshops will address wellness strategies, coping techniques and
governmental advocacy tips. Additionally, HD-specific workshops will provide
information on research updates, community resources and tips on navigating the
